Trash for Peace – October 27!

Hello Primary Families!
We are thankful that Brigitte Robinson (Lulu’s mom) connected us with Laura Kutner of Trash for Peace. Laura will be visiting our Community Connections Art class next Friday to guide us through building a recycle bin out of plastic bottles. To see more about what this non-profit organization does, check out their website: www.trashforpeace.org/what-we-do
When is this happening? October 27, 2017 – 3:30pm-4:30pm
If your child is already signed up for our Community Connections class on Fridays, they are already signed up for this workshop. The exciting news is that with extra staff here for this event, we have room for ten drop in students during our Community Connections time from 3:30-4:30. Drop in hours are billed at $10 an hour on the following month’s invoice. If you would like to participate in the workshop with your child, feel free to join us!
Please email me and let me know if you would like your child to drop in next Friday afternoon or if you would like to join us for the workshop!
Also, please send in any plastic bottles or toilet paper rolls that you may have for recycling. They can be placed in the Art Bin donation located underneath the table in the entryway.
Thank you!
Megan Eskander
