A special visit today: Chicks!

Elaine, the Grandma of one of our students at the Primary location, visited The Montessori House today to show us her little chicks -two tiny female pollitos!

Our Montessori preschoolers stepped out of the classroom to see them, hold them, and know more about them. Elaine explained with pictures the chickens’ evolution in the eggs, the incubation, and the hatching:

“I love how soft and tiny they are, and the noise they make” -Mari

The kids loved it so much that they walked back in their classrooms and started drawing and painting chicks. What a nice experience!
