We are looking forward to our biggest event of the year: Art Walk!
The Art Walk is a time when we bring our entire community together in celebration of the children’s creativity! There will be several exhibits displayed in Clark Hall. The exhibits will feature creations from each and every student artist from each environment: the Nest, Quetzal, and Eagle classrooms! Bring family and friends for this fun event from 10-noon on Saturday, December 3rd with an adorable performance by the primary students at 10.30AM!
This event coordinates with our biggest fundraiser of the year, our Silent Auction which raises money for our classroom budgets for the 2017 school year.
There are many ways to be involved with the ArtWalk from prepping the displays to helping withart projects at school to soliciting donations. Check out all of the volunteer opportunities here.
We also ask for every family to donate something to the silent auction. We have had some very fun and creative donations over the years: offer up your skills with a gift certificate for a few hours of your time in something you enjoy doing: carpentry, gardening, babysitter, music, etc. You can also donate a piece of art, an unopened toy, a set of books, you name it! The more creative your donation, the better! Donation forms can be found on the table just inside the entryway at the primary location. Please fill out form, attach to item, and place in bin under the table. We will also have a drop off spot in the driveway at the Nest.
Other Volunteer Opportunties: Please check the Parent Volunteer Binder in the hallway for easy, take home projects that you can earn volunteer time for.
Parent Volunteer hours are due by May 15th, 2017.
